AIR GUITAR WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS IN OULU 20.-24.8.2013

AGWC International Air Guitars rock out when Air Guitar World Championships takes place in Oulu once more in August! Apart from the world’s best air guitarist being chosen in the Grand Final on Friday 23rd August, Air Guitar World Championships offers people airy activities for several days when this international event takes over Oulu, the World Capital of Air Guitar during 22-23 August. Make Air Not War!

The airiest rock event of the year kicks officially off on Wednesday 21 August. And if you were not chosen to represent your country in the Air Guitar World Championships, you may still try your luck in the Dark Horses Qualifying Round on Thursday 22 August.

The event reaches its climax on 23 August when the best air guitarists in the world will challenge each other in the World Final. To honour the peaceful ideology of Air Guitar, all things bad and nasty in the world are exorcised from our earthly airspace with declaring the Air Guitar Peace, which will spread our love all over the world via internet. Join the Party!

Wednesday is the opening for the long Air Guitar weekend with the official opening program in the afternoon and a great Airientation Party in the evening! Transfer to the party by bikes, enjoying traditional Finish sauna and good company around the world. The best to way to get to the mood of Air Guitar!

In the evening the Dark Horse Qualification Round will be held at 45 Special, the legendary rock club situated in the middle of Oulu city. Your Party pass includes the ticket and an entrance without waiting. Four best players will be granted a position for the Fridays finals.
