Have an active outdoor day in beautiful scenery with unique experiences. The excursion starts by wearing a warm and comfortable safari outfit and a transfer to the destination. You´ll get familiar with a husky farm of 40 eagar siberian huskys. You´ll take about 1,5 hours long dog sledge safari and after that a cup of coffee, of course. The safari is driven 2 persons per a husky team, so you can either drive your own team or sit in the sledge on a warm reindeer skin.

We will return to Oulu in the afternoon.

Capture the true feeling of winter day in northern woods. Guide will take you by car to forest where you can start learning the wintry way of movement with snowshoes. Enjoy the silence and the pureness of milky white forest. Feel the stressless atmosphere of sitting for a snack and a cup of hot coffee by an open fire.

The program is suitable for children over 12 years old.

Nighttime Snowmobile Safari

The nighttime snowmobilesafari takes you to enjoy the silence and mystical darkness of Finnish nature. If you are lucky you might see millions of stars above you in the sky or even the colourful play of the Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis. On the way we´ll take a pit-stop and enjoy a snack by an open fire.

Fishing Trip to Hailuoto

Duration: 6 - 7 h
Price: 150 € / person

Join in an exciting fishing trip to the frozen see and experience the exotic nature of Hailuoto Island. When it’s possible we take the ice road to cross the sea to Hailuoto. The guide tells you about the traditional net fishing and if we are lucky to get a catch, we can even cook it on open fire! Anyway you´ll have hot coffee and a snack by the fire and we stop for lunch in local restaurant on the way back to town.

Visit to Ranua Wildlife Zoo

Duration: 7 h

This whole day excursion takes you by car to Ranua Wildlife Park, the northenmost zoo in the world. In the zoo you´ll take a refreshing walk outside to see arctic animals in their natural surroundings.

The zoo´s animals consist of approximately 50 wild animal species and 200 individuals, including top predators such as lynx, bears and wolves but also european moose and deers. The zoo has Finland´s only polar bears.
After the tour we´ll enjoy lunch in a cosy restaurant Jussan pirtti. You´ll have also a possibility to visit Fazer candy shop.
