Word Koiteli comes from Sami language and means “in the middle”. You get to feel an atmospheric, unique and different dinner experience in an island located in the middle of two rapids.

We have a warm hut with big fireplace waiting for the guests to sit down and enjoy the delicious three course dinner. During the dinner our guide tells you about the Finnish nature, Koiteli area and the phenomenon of Aurora Boralis, Northern lights.

After the dinner you have a opportunity to try and seek the auroras with the guidance of our guide. The area is silent and has only a soft light so it is perfect for photographing the Auroras and also to see them. Altough we can’t guarantee the appearance of the Aurora Borealis, the beautiful surroundings of Koiteli offer a memorable nature experience for your group.
